How do we remain attentive to God, one another, and the world around us in an age of constant distraction?

The Gregorian University Foundation invites readers of America to a freeonline lecture exploring faith, technology, artificial intelligence, discernment, and authentic human encounter in today’s rapidly changing culture.

Moderated by Fr. Sam Sawyer, SJ, Editor-in-Chief of America, the conversation will feature:

Fr. Daniel Patrick Huang, SJ, professor  at the Pontifical Gregorian University and member of Georgetown University’s Board of Directors

Fr. Michael Rossmann, SJ, creator of the One-Minute Jesuit series, teacher, and campus minister at Loyola University Chicago

Drawing on the Jesuit tradition of discernment, the speakers will reflect on how Christians can cultivate deeper presence, authentic relationships, and meaningful encounter in a world increasingly shaped by digital technology and artificial intelligence.

At a moment when the Church is wrestling with questions of AI, attention, and human dignity, this timely conversation offers practical wisdom and spiritual insight for anyone seeking to live faithfully amid the noise of modern life.

The lecture is free but registration required. If you cannot watch the lecture live, we will email you a video of the lecture.
