It also witnessed a revival of mystical and contemplative spirituality led by remarkable teachers. This contemplative weekend invites deeper silence and centered living through the wisdom of three figures: Howard Thurman, Martin Luther King Jr.’s mentor; Evelyn Underhill, the British writer on mysticism; and Ram Dass, an Interspiritual teacher bridging Eastern wisdom and Western psychology.
The weekend includes Centering Prayer, contemplative practices, teaching, reflection and sharing.
